Fiber Plus® provides all the benefits of fiber, to restore and promote regularity, plus the additional colon cleansing benefits of senna, in a base of purifying herbs. We have added a delicious apple-cinnamon taste to the formula, without adding sugar. The fiber formula includes all five fiber types. Just the right amount of senna is included to give definite cleansing benefits. The herbs - dandelion root, ginger root and red clover tops - complement the cleansing action of the senna and provide soothing balance to the stomach and intestinal system.

Recommended Use:

Adult Dosage: 1 heaping teaspoon, one to three times a day.

Children (6-12): Half adult dose.

Start by taking 1 dose each day. Gradually increase to 3 doses per day as needed. Mix this product (child or adult dose) with at least 8 ounces (a full glass) of juice, water or other fluid. Drink immediately. Taking this product without enough liquid may cause choking. See warnings. Drinking additional liquid is helpful. If minor gas or bloating occurs, reduce the amount you take until your system adjusts. For relief of occasional irregularity; results generally within 6 to 12 hours.

Notes:

Swell Volume: For formulas with psyllium husks, the USP requires a minimum of 31.4 ml/g swell volume, a measure of how absorbent the fiber is. Yerba Prima Fiber Plus™ exceeds the standard with a normal swell volume of 45 to 55 ml/g, which means that it is absorbing 45 to 55 times its weight in liquid and waste materials as it passes through the digestive system.

Warnings:

Do not use this product when abdominal pain, nausea, or vomiting are present. Do not use for more than one week without consulting a doctor. This product may cause allergic reaction in people sensitive to inhaled or ingested psyllium. Taking this product without adequate fluid may cause it to swell and block your throat or esophagus and may cause choking. Do not take this product if you have difficulty in swallowing. If you experience chest pain, vomiting, or difficulty in swallowing or breathing after taking this product, seek immediate medical attention.
